Our Mission - Inspired by Jesus Christ, Trinity Church is called to love God through: Worship and Fellowship, Christian Education, Invitation, and Service.

Our Congregation - We are a fairly traditional United Methodist congregation of mostly Grand Island residents. Our congregational makeup reflects the demographics of Grand Island. We have young and old and many in the middle. We have an active youth group, several women’s groups, a senior group that meets monthly for fellowship and conversation. We have a prayer circle and will soon dedicate a room devoted to prayer and spiritual formation. We are developing our ministries of outreach, sending in 2006 mission work camp teams to West Virginia, South Carolina, and Mississippi. As United Methodists, we are connected to the denomination through the Niagara Frontier District and the Western New York Conference. We are a diverse congregation, with Christian believers of various persuasions. We believe our roof is big enough to cover all and our building large enough to make room for all. We are united in our commitment to be connected to one another and Jesus Christ, to seek the fruit of the Spirit, and to grow in faith, hope, and love.

Our Church is located on Grand Island, an  island in the Niagara River between Canada and the United States. Founded in 1867, the congregation began as a group of German Lutherans called the Brethren.  Their second church building, established in 1907 and now called Historic Trinity Chapel, is still used for special occasions. The current church building, established in 1965, flanks historic trinity.
